Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use FlexChords (www.flexchords.com), which is run by Amit S Namboothiry, Kochi, Kerala, India ("we", "us"). By using FlexChords you agree to them. Questions: support@flexchords.com.

The service

FlexChords finds the chords, key and tempo of songs from YouTube videos and audio files you upload, and plays them with the chords in sync. It is a tool for personal practice, study and learning music.

Chord charts are estimates made automatically. They can be wrong, and we don't promise any level of accuracy. We may change, add or remove features over time.

Your account

Using FlexChords

Use FlexChords for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't:

Your content and shared charts

You keep any rights you have in audio you upload. You let us store and process it to provide the service to you. Uploads are private to you and anyone you share the link with.

Charts for YouTube videos are shared: once anyone adds a video, its chart is public for everyone, and you agree that charts made from songs you add can appear in the catalog. Edits you make to a chart are private to your account.

Songs, recordings and videos belong to their copyright holders. YouTube videos play through YouTube's embedded player and are covered by YouTube's terms. If you believe something on FlexChords infringes your rights, email us and we'll remove it.
